Analysis:



Adivasi vs Lambada

Raj Gonds are dominant here. 


Adivasi votes will be crucial in deciding the winner. In assembly elections Adivasis did not vote for Lambadas.


⇒ Congress

Shyam Naik(Asifabad) and Gajendra (Boath) belong to Lambada. They didn't get votes from Adivasis in Assembly elections and both were lost. 

Vedma Bojju(Gond) was successful in pulling Adivasi votes. 

Candidates from Adivasi would be fetching for the Party.


⇒ BJP

Sitting MP seat for BJP, it had strong cadre and vote strength in the constituency.

Looks like BJP wants to change the Sitting candidate Soyam Bapu Rao. Ramesh Rathod, Ex MP is in the candidates list. 

Except in Asifabad , BJP performed well in other 6 constituencies during Assembly Elections.

More winning chances for the Party

⇒ BRS

Performed well in assembly elections but the situations have changed now.

The fight would be mostly between Congress and BJP. 

Block level cadre may shift to Congress before MP elections.

But if it retains 3 lakhs votes then it would be tough for BJP. Congress may gain from this.



Present BJP is in the lead in this Parliament seat. Congress strategically appointed Minister Seethakka as incharge of this seat. Her popularity among the tribals especially Adivasis will have positive results for Congress vote share.
